Nubia DuVall Wilson's new substack, Unsilenced

Happy New Year, everyone!!! I am thrilled to announce two new major pieces of news:

MY NEW SUBSTACK

This week I launched my new substack and will be producing content exclusively for survivors of sexual abuse, sibling sexual trauma/abuse and incest abuse at Unsilenced: Reclaiming Our Voices. Rewriting Our Power.

I would love for you all to subscribe to this new platform of mine, which will be filled with mental health tips, healing humor, advocacy news and more!

MY NEW ROLE AT Incest AWARE Alliance

As of January, I am officially done with my South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education service!!! That means I have more time to dedicate to my advocacy efforts and recently accepted the part-time role of Community Organizer at the anti-incest activism organization Incest AWARE, which is a network of incest survivors where our work centers on activism, advocacy and building spaces where survivors can come together to heal, connect and do meaningful work together. I started my survivorship advocacy in 2017 and in 2018 published the novella “The Survivors Club” (pictured below holding it), so this next chapter matters so much.

FEATURED IN DOCUMENTARY

Lastly, I am featured in an upcoming New York Times Op Doc on the topic of incest and cannot WAIT to share it with you all once it is live. It is coming out shortly and I'll be highlighting it on my new substack. Stay tuned!
