My Idea:

The Disconnection: Encounters with Strangers sprung from my desire to be published and expose others to my writing. After living in Taiwan for two years, I realized that I had a good amount of experiences to retell in short stories. When I completed roughly ten stories, I began pulling together a plethora of NYC stories with similar ironic, interesting, humorous situations. A few months later, I decided to showcase my stories on a blog and update it weekly with new encounters. Encounters with Strangers is not just about the comical situations I observe or experience, it's also about that raw slice of life--the genuine way that we interact with each other in a big city.

The wheels are turning...currently, I am working on putting all of my short stories into a book, so if anyone knows a publisher who has a soft spot for starving artists, let me know!
